The Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Pediatric Tumor and Virus Research (lead by Prof. Jindrich Cinatl; Frankfurt Foundation for Children with Cancer) is interested in the underlying mechanism of chemoresistance, overcoming chemoresistance and developing new therapy strategies. To achieve this goal, a unique collection of resistant cancer cell lines (RCCL collection) was established over the last decades.
We are seeking applications for a laboratory assistant for the care and maintenance of the RCCL Collection. Experience in working with cell culture, cryopreservation of cell lines, viability assay, isolation of DNA and RNA and Western Blot are beneficial. We are looking for candidates who are highly self-motivated, dependable and organized team players. The position is a full-time employment, initially limited for one year with options for prolongation (payment according to TV-G-U).
