Successful yard sale in Zeilsheim!

Mrs Calanni, owner of Haarstudio Rosa (Alt Zeilsheim 66, 65931 Frankfurt am Main), recently held a private yard sale in Zeilsheim. In order to do something good at the same time, she contacted our foundation and asked for donation tins to be set up during the flea market.

By rounding up amounts or making direct donations, 320 euros were collected. During a personal visit with her daughters to the foundation’s research centre, Managing Director Marcus Klüssendorf gave them a short tour of what the donation was needed for.

Extremely impressed by the aims of the foundation and the work of the researchers, Mrs Calanni immediately thought of a new fundraising campaign for next year: a milestone birthday and a company anniversary are to generate further donations that will benefit the development of better paediatric cancer therapies and thus give children and young people a better chance of recovery and a life without late effects.
