A donation instead of presents

For her 70th birthday, Mrs Martina Ruppel had the idea to ask for donations for the research work for the benefit of children and young people with cancer instead of presents.

2 months earlier, she and her husband visited our foundation to get an impression of the work in our research house during a tour of the laboratories.

On 27 July 2022, the two came to Frankfurt again to hand over the proud sum of 925 euros that had been collected at the birthday party. A big surprise for us followed: Mrs Ruppel personally topped up this amount to no less than 2,000 euros. We were very touched by this generous gesture, which provides important support for children’s cancer research.
